PartsBase operates the world’s largest and most advanced
online aviation, aerospace, and defense marketplace. Member companies can search a database of available inventory,
perform industry data research or perform overhaul capabilities searches. PartsBase also offers advanced marketing
services to the aviation industry through the use targeted marketing products
like streaming corporate videos and more.
What types of companies use PartsBase?
PartsBase is used by approximately
3,500 companies worldwide. These
include small companies and large organizations alike covering many sectors of
the aviation, aerospace, and defense industries. The service is used by military installations, airlines, charter
services, flight schools, FBOs, MROs, airborne law enforcement, government
contractors, government agencies, distributors, OEMs, brokers, contract
manufacturers, corporate flight departments, overhaul shops, and more.
How many different vendors list inventory on
PartsBase?
A lot. While there
are around 1,400 different distributors and manufacturers that use PartsBase,
we also allow anybody to list surplus inventory. This increases the available pool of inventory available to
buyers. There are more than 2,800
member accounts that list inventory.
Can I buy parts on PartsBase?
No. PartsBase is
designed to match buyers and sellers and does not offer transaction based
services.

How much does a membership cost?
Depending on the products and services required, annual memberships range from $999 for a limited access package with 100 parts searches and no inventory listing capabilities, to $5,000 for a full-featured Platinum Package. Most annual memberships cost between $2,000 and $2,500.
How will I load my inventory?
Inventory can be submitted by uploading an inventory file
online or by emailing an inventory file to service@partsbase.com
Where does the Government Logistics Data come from and
how often is it updated?
This data is compiled from a number of formats of data
supplied by dozens of government agencies.
The information is updated at least quarterly.
Is technical support available?
Yes. Free technical
support is available from the hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST.
Will PartsBase work with my existing software?
Yes. PartsBase is an
independent service operating solely through your web browser and will not
impact any software you operate now or in the future.
Can I search for more than one part at a time?
Yes. Up to twenty
parts can be searched simultaneously using our basic service and thousands can
be searched simultaneously using our Batch Search product.
Will I be charged based on the amount of inventory I
want to list?
No. Memberships are
sold annually and not based on the quantity of inventory you list.
Will I be charged based on the number of searches I
run?
No. Most memberships
come with unlimited searching. Some
memberships come with only 100 successful part searches but once you run out of
them you won’t be able to search anymore.
I only have some surplus inventory. Will I be charged to list that?
No, unless you have a Limited Access Membership.
